I am using a yellow skinny one that usually comes with the ball and all the balls crack..what should i us so they dont crack?

and umm i think its bigger than that anyways its made up of hard plastic…how much does that weigh..aprox.?? i just need it cuz im doing my trebuchet project with IT being the projectile so yeh ..help!!! plz..

well umm…i actually decided to use my brains instead of asking people, i made a balance scale ( a bar with some axis under it in the middle) and i put some chocolate bars with gum pieces ( of known mass) and came out to know that it weight between 45 and 50 grams….i GUESS its 47 grams =D but anyways thanks for any help!!
when i was a kid they were at every store and now i cant find them… i want the big orange bats is there any websites or something cause i checked ebay and amazon and they had none. don’t say to use the yellow bats cause we do, but we use the orange ones more often but we broke our last one. ,,, i have a league for money and the field is big so we use those bats…. please help… or if you are from new jersey and you would be willing to sell one.. i would buy it for up to 20$
